Frequently asked questions
Good to know.
How can I reach Spitex Medimex?
By phone on 044 500 49 27, by e-mail to spitex@medimex.ch or via the contact form on this page. If you would like to arrange care for yourself or a relative, our care request is the best way.
Where is the Spitex Medimex office?
Our office is at Lerzenstrasse 11, 8953 Dietikon. Our nursing care and support take place in your own home – in the cantons of Zurich, Aargau and Schwyz.
Can I cancel a planned visit at short notice?
As a rule, a planned visit must be cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours in advance. Visits that are not cancelled will be charged. In exceptional cases, special arrangements can be made.
Do you have to attend another appointment at short notice? Please contact us as soon as possible – we will try to find a solution.
What happens if a visit is delayed?
We do our best to keep the visit times agreed with you. If this is not possible for unforeseen reasons, we need some leeway of plus or minus 30 minutes. If we cannot keep to this time window, we will let you know by phone.
What information does Spitex need for the first enquiry?
A few details are enough for the first contact: who the support is for, what help is needed, in which canton and from when – and how we can reach you. We will clarify everything else in a personal conversation.
Treatment care requires a doctor’s prescription. Since 1 July 2024, needs assessment, advice and basic care are also possible without a doctor’s prescription.
